MEN’S DAY HIKES DATES
DAY HIKE DETAILS
What is the purpose behind these hikes?
The Bible speaks often about nature and God. We want men to experience the beauty that surrounds us in our Great Basin Region. We want men to experience an event for men - a chance to gain “Foxhole” friends or those that you can call on in time of need and experience a fun environment that you can take a memory from.
Who is leading these hikes?
Pastor Eric loves the outdoors and trail hiking. He has been doing this for many years and would love to show you some areas he enjoys.
What are we doing on these hikes?
Experiencing nature. Experiencing scripture at points on the trails as we take a rest and replenish our fuel. Praying together. Sharing stories and just enjoying some humor together. A few of the day hikes, we’ll be having lunch.
What do I need to bring?
A camera, light gear, a small Bible, good trail shoes, lightweight clothing, water, snacks and anything else you might want to bring with you.
How long will the hike be?
Plan on a most of the day and into the evening.
We’ll bring community food to share.
Is there a cost?
As much as we would love to make this free, it does cost to cover small expenditures that our group may need. Plus, you’ll get a cool memento at the end of the hike. The cost will be announced at a later date.
Do I have to attend Sierra View?
No, just come hang out with us!
